The Gift that Keeps on Giving
A planned gift is a tax-wise charitable donation that is typically constructed (or “planned”) with the assistance of others for the benefit of the charity that is meaningful to you. Planned gifts offer a win-win situation in that your charity of choice receives financial support and you, the donor, receive financial benefits such as tax savings and even an increase in current income!
Examples of planned giving opportunities include gifts through a will, appreciated stock, real estate, life insurance, and annuities and trusts.
